For domestic clients, we undertake a range of commissions from design of new-build houses to extending existing properties, remodelling difficult interior spaces or evaluating improvements of building fabric to reduce energy consumption and incorporate renewables.

Our commercial practice experience in various sectors puts us in a good place to work on commercial and cultural commissions of a larger scale. Our BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflow allows us to punch above our weight in terms of delivery of larger projects.

A common thread that runs through all of these commissions is an exceptional design quality driven by a combination of practical problem solving and original thinking.

Projects

Our experience in commercial practice since 2001 has furnished us with some serious technical knowledge. Building on some of our commercial work in practice, we currently undertake technical consultancy work for other high-calibre architecture practices.

We help them to solve problems on a freelance basis, and can devote our time to individual projects, particular workstages, packages or details.

We can offer our knowledge teaching more junior members of staff, we can take-on planning and building regulations packages or design team coordination work. We have a deep understanding of technical compliance, a practical knowledge of how to build and a contractual knowledge of how to produce drawings and specifications for tender and construction.

We can work in a range of software to suit a project or studio including Archicad, Vectorworks, Rhino, Revit and both 2d and 3d Microstation. We’re BIM ready, and prefer this method for it’s efficiencies and interconnected 2d/3d environments.

We work with professional landlords and developers offering a range of services from development appraisals, pre-purchase feasibility studies, planning and listed building consent applications to complete coordination of refurbishment works.

We are exceptionally well connected in the industry and can offer coordination of consultants, sub-contractors and other specialist trades.
